Golf Swomg Series: How a Professional Prepares Before His Next Major Event.

During the week, we think of the next game of golf, thinking that we will dominate.
Then on golf day, we are not so confident. Doubts creep into out thinking.
What to do to overcome this?
Get to the course early enough to hit some chips keeping your head down, not looking up at all. This will ensure that you keep your head down all day. Lift your head on the first few shots, and you will do this all day.
Hit some iron shots and some drives, have some puts, and then do visualisation.
Somewhere quiet, think of hitting a great drive, iron shot, chip and puts. Picture these shots vividly.Do this for ten minutes. Your game will improve for the day.

Golf Swing Series: Th e Practice Swing

Always have a practice swing before every shot. While making it, check stance, weight distribution, the take away, the hand position half way up and at the top. Make sure the right elbow in tucked in to the body and keep it there for the whole swing. No flying right elbows please. Check that you are in position to hit down on the ball, catching the ball first, and then the follow through. Make sure your right arm crosses over the left and that you finish with high hands. Do not look up during the practice swing. This will help to avoid having an early look during the golf shot.
